How to style short hair for a young man?

hi i just got my hair cut and the hair dresser cut it really short cause he used the wrong razor, i can still spike it up and stuff, i'm not really fussed about it i was wondering does anyone know any good ways to style it. I have dark brown hair and its wavy and i usually spike up the top and the back i want something new any ideas thx :)How to style short hair for a young man?
