Yes its possible just go old school and get an stove top straightening comb and buy some lard in the vegetable or oil section and section your hair off and put a dime size on the section and comb thorough with a regular comb and then straighten your hair.When you are done with you whole head you can then get scalp braids and they will last long.





p.s. Lard is water resistant so you don't have to worry about your hair frizzing back up into your Afro stage
yep. just buy a straightner.. my friend did it once..it stilll looked like a fro tho..but straight haha....it was cool! lol...use a SALON type, professional straightner. Cheap kind won't work, and will fry your hair. They get pretty expensive, but if you're serious about it, then it's worth it. It is possible, however it would take you much effort to maintain your hair after straightening. You need special shampoo,conditioner and hot oil treatments twice a month to be able to maintain its luster and shine....and strighted hair doesnt look natural at all.,,, what i would advise you is to have your hair styled by a professional. i believe there is an appropriate hairstyle for every type of hair.
